Be Realistic & Don’t Get Ridiculous

Filed under: Build Your Website — bob @ 8:23 pm

OK. Harsh headline. Well - here’s a part of the problem newbies create at times.

They look at Youtube or Myspace and see the big bucks the creators of these sites have made and decide that’s what I want to do. That’s a normal reaction. Wow - I create a site and sell it to Google later for a few million.

No no no no no. Maybe somewhere down the line this will become realistic. Right now you need to learn to begin making money on the internet a few bucks at a time and then extend your reach.

eSiteBuildIt shows you exactly how to do this. You start at the beginning and spend time finding a niche that is popular and then you choose a domain name that works and you begin to slowly add content and build the site.

1 Week to Google & Yahoo Inclusion

Filed under: Build Your Website — bob @ 1:07 pm

1 week! That’s how long it took to get my new site into Google and Yahoo. 1 week.

Google sandbox? Well, it didn’t appear to have an effect. Now listen, I don’t have high rankings here yet so don’t get the wrong message. The point is, your first goal is to be in these search engines. Then you start to work on rankings.

You hear all the time about how it takes sometimes 6 months or more to be included in Google and Yahoo. So how did I get there in 1 week? Any tricks? Any extra effort involved?

Nope. I started this site in SiteBuildIt and you can find out more in my other posts. Each page I put in I followed the exact methods shown to make certain I was completely optimizing each page. Then:

1) My blog was being built at the same time automatically
2) The pages, as they were being built, were being automatically sent to the search engines and will continue to be done in the manner the search engines prefer until they begin to get ranked.
3) As I built each page, I was shown exactly how to optimize each page before they went to the search engines
4) I built a couple pages to begin with, then every day or so added more so that my blog would show more posts - remember - automatically.

This site is in the beginning stages but I will continue to add, at minimum, a couple pages each week. I fully expect it to be performing at the level of my other SiteBuildIt Site.

Now, check for yourself to verify what I said. Student Loans Digest - I registered a week or so ago, then began posting last weekend. You can verify this by doing a Whois if you want - then by doing a search for my site in Google and Yahoo by typing in www.student-loans-digest.com to verify it is listed.

A keyword I have used in this post is “automatically”. All I do now is build my pages and optimize them as I’m told. That’s it.

Listen, you definitely need to own at least 1 site here and you need to do so before you choose a domain name or anything to get full advantage. The reason is you are shown how to choose a profitable niche.

Blogging Automatically?

Filed under: Build Your Website — bob @ 4:40 pm

I think one of the most time consuming, but necessary parts of promoting a website is blogging.

This takes care of it and is awesome! Here’s how it works. When you write your web page, you have the option to include that on your blog. A description will appear on your blog with a link to your new web page article.

Do you understand the importance of this? You don’t have to write a seperate blog post, then maybe add it to your site so it grows. Nor do you have to write an article to your web site - then write a description and add it to your blog and have it link to that article. This is huge!

OK - Here is the new site I am working on. Student Loans. Check it out. Read any of the articles. Now click on the blog link and read it. This happened automatically.

That alone, along with the easy way to add to the site, would make Sitebuildit worth it. Yet that’s only the beginning. :-)

Easily Build a Website That Makes You Money!

Filed under: Build Your Website — bob @ 8:00 pm

Building a website can be a daunting task. Especially if it is the first time you have ever done so.

Well - building a website can be easy and, if you properly build it, you can make money with it. But this isn’t easily accomplished.

Until now. Now you can not only build a site without knowing html - or without making your sites non-search engine friendly, you can build one and stop worrying about trying to figure out SEO.

Are you skeptical? Yeah - so was I. I actually do build websites and I earn a living on the internet. Many of my sites are highly ranked on the search engines. However - I have 1 site here that is bringing a lot of traffic and I do very little.

A lot less than I do with my other 40 or so sites.

So - I went out and bought another - actually 2 more but I’m working on content for the one - then will go to the other. The completed site is Recipe Street, which I set up for my wife. That’s why I chose this but I am so impressed with it - I got more.

OK - many top gurus on the internet have a minimum of 1 site here and many have a lot more. For a reason.

I’ll go into that more on this blog so keep checking back. But check out the links right now.
